Apple Music reaching the phone through its system-media session is no longer mistaken for another app, which had pinned the screen to artwork and hidden shuffle, repeat, like and lyrics. Lyrics no longer depend on the gateway advertising a lyrics surface — the lrclib lookup runs either way. The wheel sends the relative volume verbs instead of an absolute level the phone may refuse. Artwork gets a fresh lookup when the artist arrives after the track. Diagnostics reports the audible source, the wheel and the volume path.
