New icon in the shared Ousa style: a glowing ring with a dot, in the app's own colour.

Icon shrunk under the device's 64 KiB limit so it shows in the launcher.

Khmer text displays on the device. The Car Thing has no Khmer font, so Khmer in your own text (quotes, names, captions, track titles) came out as empty boxes; the app now carries its own.

The twelve names on the board stop pretending to be a real exchange: Vapourware Systems, Wheely Fast Motors, Petri & Sons, Beach Sand Semis, Ship Happens Freight, Big Wind Energy, Clanky Robotics, Piggy Bank Holdings, Impulse Buy Retail, One More Turn Games, Rock Bottom Mining and Squint Optics, with a wire to match: a regulator that brings snacks, insiders trimming for entirely personal reasons, a founder discovering social media. Breaking news drops in over the board when a story lands, carrying the ticker, the move it is worth and the headline. It goes after eight seconds, an × closes it sooner, and touching it opens that name's chart. The first story seen after a reload is swallowed, since a wire that has been running all along is history rather than news. The popup has its own switch in the settings and in the companion app. A headline that named its company twice printed the placeholder the second time. It replaces every one of them now rather than the first.

The app is called O-Desk Exchange now, on the store card, on the device and in the tab it opens in. Nothing else about it changes: same id, same settings, same data, so an installed copy updates in place and simply reads O-Desk Exchange afterwards.

The clock in the header now comes from the daemon's zone rather than the browser's, which reports UTC on the kiosk whatever the device's own clock says.

A fictional stock exchange for the dashboard: twelve invented companies, a live board with sparklines, a chart at four spans, a headline wire whose stories actually move the prices they are about, and a ticker tape along the bottom. Prices are a pure function of the clock, so the market has a history you can chart at any span and a reload never loses it. Settings on the device cover pace, volatility, colours, chart span, the watchlist and holding the market still. Nothing here is a real quote.
